Kamačnik brings a different landscape of flowing water, limestone and woodland. Ask the operator about current access before travelling, then choose a route that suits the conditions. Canyons deserve their own planning, particularly after periods of rain.
Give the forest time
Keep the day simple: a walk, a regional lunch and time back at your accommodation. Pay attention to the changing relationship between trees, rock and water. The experience is richer when there is space to notice the small parts of the landscape.
